Walking in Scotland is wonderful – you have the choice of walks through the forests or the glens, alongside the rivers, or in the mountains. All the Thistle Holiday Parks have a choice of walks nearby; get up in the morning and the walks are on your doorstep! Whether you arrive by motorhome, caravan or tent, you have got plenty of choices for easy and moderate walks as well as short or challenging day walks on parts of long-distance trails. Here are a few suggestions:
Mortonhall Caravan Park: On the outskirts of Edinburgh, minutes from the Pentland Hills, with trails which are signposted and those where you find your own way; spend the day here, walking through the moorland and alongside farms.
